DONNA ELIZABETH KLIMCHUK 1937 - 2007 Peacefully after a lengthy and courageous battle with her loving family by her side, Donna passed away, Thursday, September 20 at the Stonewall Hospital. Donna is survived by her husband Peter; son Jim (Bev), daughter Lori (John); sons Dale and Wayne; granddaughters Crystal, Jodi, Rachelle, Brittany and Jenna and one great grandson Riley. Also left to carry on is her brother Jim Ross. She was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Bertha Ross and brothers Pat and Ted; sister-in-law Norma and nephew Randy. Donna was born October 21, 1937 in Hodgson, MB. She married Peter in 1958 they settled and raised their family in Stony Mountain until Donna retired from the Stony Mountain Institution in 1994. It was then she returned to Hodgson. Although her love for her yard and garden was evident, Donna loved special occasions at the farm when all the family would be out enjoying her delicious cooking, but the most precious of all was her dedication to her children and grandchildren, always thinking of their well being and happiness before her own. The family would like to thank Dr.'s Maksymiuk, West and Schroder, and nurses at CancerCare MB, with a very special thanks to Dr. Venter and the wonderful nurses and health care aids at the Stonewall Hospital for their excellent care and support they provided to both Donna and her family. A celebration of Donna's life will take place on Monday, September 24 at 5:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the 55 Plus Club in Stonewall or Stonewall Hospital Palliative Care Room. Rest in Peace We will carry on your strength. We Love You.
