Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) HENRY DOPSON We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Grandfather, William Henry Dopson on September 20, 2007 at 79 years of age. Bill was born in St. James, Manitoba on October 22, 1927 to William and Mable Dopson. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Agnes of 57 years; his children, Tom (Debbie) and Gord; grandchildren, Thomas, Christie, Tamara, Michelle, Amanda and Kelsey; his siblings, Norm (June), Wynn, Mable, Gladys (Hardy). He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mable Dopson; siblings, Doris, Len, Irene, Gord and his beloved daughter Debra and will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bill grew up in St. James, Manitoba. After completing his Apprenticeship at the CNR as a Carmen, he worked with the CPR for over 30 years until his retirement on March 1, 1984. In 1988, Bill and Ag moved from their Ingersoll home in Winnipeg to their current home in Gunton, MB. Throughout Dad's life, Dad was often found puttering in his workshop, his yard and the garden; Dad was a handyman. He worked on numerous projects for friends and relatives over the years, and even renovated their Ingersoll home. Grandpa was an avid gardener and loved to play crib and card games. He was also a huge sports fan and loved to watch a good game. Bill spent summers with family and friends at his Lakeshore Heights cottage. Grandpa/ Gramps spent many hours enjoying the company of his six grandchildren. Our family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre GA3 and the Teulon Hospital. Also a special thanks to Nicky Smith and Dr. Graham. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu in flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Salvation Army. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
