CHRISTINE PINCURA (nee KOLOMAYA) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Pincura, aged 85. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2007. Chris was born October 13, 1921 and grew up on a homestead in St. Martin, MB. She moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Harry Pincura. Together they raised four children. She was predeceased by her parents, Pauline and George Kolomaya, her brothers, John and Sam Kolomaya of St. Martin, and her sister Mary Smith of Pasadena, California. Chris is survived by her brother Tony and sister Jeanette Ewasiuk, both of St. Martin. Left to cherish her memory is her four loving children and their spouses; Walter (Wendy), Janet (Wayne), George (Audrey) and Bob (Brenda); 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and a large, close extended family. Special thanks to the staff at Meadowood Manor for the excellent care they gave to Mom. A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Meadowood Manor, 577 St. Anne's Road in Winnipeg, MB, officiated by Chaplain David Holland.
