ROSELLE LAROCQUE August 28, 1941 - September 20, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of Roselle Larocque announces her passing on September 20, 2007, at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. Roselle was born August 28, 1941, in San Clara, MB, to Florence Morriseau and David Larocque. She came to Vermilion Bay in 1962 where she met and married Walter Taylor. She had many hobbies, which included sewing, volunteering, and she was a wonderful cook. Her home was her pride and joy, and making it a comfortable place was most satisfying for her. Her greatest accomplishments included being a wonderful grandmother to Steven and Stacie, and caring for her youngest son Rory. Rory would not have had the life he had, had she not been there to make sure of it. Roselle is survived by her daughter Shauna (Rod) Case of Peterborough; her sons, Troy Taylor of Vermilion Bay, Todd (Charlene) Taylor of Vermilion Bay; her grandchildren, Steven and Stacie Case of Peterborough; her brothers, Mannie (Brenda) Bercier of Winnipeg, Armond (Marlene) Bercier of Winnipeg, Joey Bercier of Winnipeg, Ronna (Rita) Bercier of Calgary, and Doug Bercier of Calgary; her sisters, Linda (Morley) Whitmore of Dowling, Marlene (Gord) Hayward of Winnipeg, and Roseanne (Wilf) Bercier of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews that all love her very much. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Claudette Lambert (Bercier). She was also predeceased by her beloved son Rory Taylor on November 18, 2006. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home, with John Mulders officiating. Interment of ashes for Roselle and Rory to follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Vermilion Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DRHC Oncology Unit or Dryden District Association for Community Living through Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
