Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH ELIZABETH SKINNER (nee ARMSTRONG) April 25, 1921 - September 18, 2007 After a long, brave struggle with failing health, Ruth Skinner passed peacefully away at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her parents and husband David. She will be sadly and deeply missed by her only daughter Lynn as well as her many friends. I take great comfort in knowing she knew the Lord. Now, she has no more pain or suffering nor will a tear flow from her eyes. Now, she is at the Father's side and will remain there for eternity. She has finished her first journey and has moved on to a perfect eternal one. Those who, like her, put their faith in Jesus Christ are guaranteed of being with her again. Remember that and take comfort in it. This is simply a temporary separation. Appreciation to the fine nursing staff and the spiritual care worker Michelle at the Misericordia Interim Care for their thoughtful care, kindness and support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Church with Pastor Stacy, 930 Winakwa Road, Friday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m.
