MARY ANN GETTY In loving memory of Mary Ann Getty, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who passed away on August 29, 2007. All who have had the gift of meeting mom feel a great loss. We remember her smile, kindness, compassion, understanding, willingness to give of herself and witty sense of humour. A sense of humour that stayed with her in difficult times and through the latter part of her journey home. Daily we see her image in our minds and it breaks our hearts to know that we will never see her again. It gives us strength to think about how courageous and strong she was in her journey home. She never gave up and fought as best she could. As you put it mom you are now at peace with your husband and daughter and are looking down upon as another guardian angel. We will always remember you mom. You will forever be in our minds and hearts, with fond and loving memories. Make sure to tell dad to keep it in the low grass and give us a sign when you get your fourth hole in one. Your loving friends and family. On moms request a ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Johns Cathedral, in Winnipeg Manitoba.
