MARY MORE (nee GMITEREK) Peacefully, on Friday, September 28, 2007, Mary More (nee Gmiterek), aged 89 years, passed away at the Kildonan Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, MB. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Caroline and Joseph Gmiterek; her husband Frank; brothers, Mike, Anton, John and Edward and sisters, Katie Novak, Jean Novak and Rose Duma. Mary leaves to mourn her passing her brothers, Stanley (Jean), Joseph (Olga), sister Helen Fandych; sisters in-law Nellie, Teenie and Pearl Gmiterek as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her niece Beverly, who took exceptional care of all of Mary's needs during the past five years. Mary was born in Brokenhead, MB on January 14, 1918. At a young age she left to work in Toronto, ON and lived there for over fifty years. She spent the last five years in Winnipeg. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at 10:30 a.m. in Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, MB with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak presiding. Friends may view one half hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in the St. Mary Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery. Thanks to the 2nd Floor Staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for their care and compassion.
