Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE JOY BROWNE Suddenly on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at the Victoria General Hospital, Darlene Joy Browne passed away. Darlene is survived by her twin daughters, Angela and Jennifer Baier of Saskatoon; her father Ken and wife Betty Browne; sister Carol (Lloyd); brothers, Jim (Lori) and Don (Kelly). She also leaves behind nieces, Kristin, Lorissa, Rhianna, Destiny, Darris; nephew Mike; as well as nine step-brothers and sisters; and best friend Louanne. Darlene was predeceased by her nephew Jimmy and her mom Sophie. Darlene was born June 10, 1956 in Winnipeg. Being born a preemie, Darlene was out to prove to the world the best things come in small packages. She was raised in North Kildonan and graduated from River East Collegiate. Darlene graduated with her Bachelor of nursing from the U of M in 1978, and all through her education she had won various accolades for her academic standing. As a nurse she enjoyed the challenges she faced as both an I.C.U. and as a Home Care Discharge Nurse. Darlene's compassion and empathy channeled her into a perfect profession. Darlene retired form nursing early due to health problems. Unfortunately M.S. ravished her body stripping her of her independence. Darlene has gone to dance with the angels and we will all miss her. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral home on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler Ave @ Henderson Hwy 668-3151

I am sad that Darlene died at such a young age. How sad for her 2 daughters to have lost their mom at such a young age. I wish I could tell her loving sister Carol how bad feel for her, I know how much Carol loved her big sister.
