MARCEL MEILLEUR On Saturday, September 29, 2007, Marcel passed away peacefully at his residence at the age of 77 years. Marcel is survived by his wife Noyale; his children, Mona (Darcy), Guy (Christine), Thérèse (Paul), Lilliane (Ryan) and Diane (Allen); his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his nine siblings; his mother-in-law, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbrod and Zélia Meilleur. Marcel was born on July 8, 1930 in Fort Frances, ON and a year later moved to Fisher Branch, MB. At a very young age Marcel picked up a violin and his passion kept him playing until the day he passed away. He played harmony with the late Andy Desjarlais for many years and some of Marcel's own compositions are being played internationally. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Eugène Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
