CONSTANCE (CONNIE) MABEL ANGUS (nee RUDD) December 6, 1915 September 27, 2007 With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mom on September 27, 2007 at Birch Lodge PCH, Hamiota, MB. Connie is survived and fondly remembered by her sons, Wayne (Doreen), Barry (Gladys); daughter Lynn (Doug); grandsons, Kerry (Linda), Jayson (Amber), Chris (Kim), and Darren; granddaughter Jolene (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Connor, Shannon, Jayden, Morgan and Ceara. Also left to cherish many fond memories is her sister Lillian Scott and many nieces and nephews. Connie was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1996; daughter-in-law Adrienne in 1993; also by her parents, John and Elsie Rudd; sisters, Margaret and Gwen; and brother William. Mom lived a long and active life until the last few years. She took great pride in her home and gardens on the farm and in town. She loved to cook and bake for everyone. Mom enjoyed reminiscing in later years of her winter months spent in Victoria and of their trip to Hawaii with their good friends. Mom experienced great enjoyment as the family grew with the addition of each grandchild and great grandchild. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Scotia Cemetery, RM of Hamiota, MB, and a reception will follow at Chumah Hall, Hamiota United Church, Hamiota at 1:30 p.m. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Connie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
