WARREN ELLIOTT CAMPBELL It's with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Warren Elliott Campbell, of Stony Mountain, MB, on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Warren was born July 25, 1949, in Stonewall, MB. He married Diane, his wife, best friend, and partner of 37 years, and together they raised their three children. He worked in the trucking industry for over 30 years, 21 of those employed with Reimer Express Lines Ltd., driving and instructing. He then went on to establish his own successful business, W. Campbell and Son Trucking, alongside his son. Warren had many passions. He spent a large part of his life hunting, fishing and camping with his family and many friends. He coached his kids baseball and curling and spent many hours teaching his daughters, son and grandchildren to fish and hunt. He was so very proud of them all. One of his favourite pastimes was going to any sporting event his grandchildren were involved in. He especially enjoyed watching them play hockey. Known to many as Big Horn or The Big Unit, he was a great friend and will always be missed. Warren was predeceased by his mother Winnie; brother Doug; sisters, Gerry, Joyce; and stepmother Doreen. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Diane; daughters, Kim (Trevor), Angie (Derek); son Doug (Lindsay); grandchildren, Colton, Trey, Karson, Camryn, Ashlyn, Lauryn; his dog Max; father Lloyd; sisters, Evelyn, Susie; brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. We Love you and will miss you more than words can say. Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall, MB. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Dr. Harold King will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ Church Anglican, Stony Mountain, MB, in memory of Warren. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
