NOEL EVOY It is with great sadness we announce that suddenly, on Thursday, September 27, 2007, Noël passed away at his home at the age of 60. Noël was predeceased by his father Dr. George Evoy, in 1961 and by his mother Louise Evoy, in 1981. He leaves behind, to forever cherish his memory, his sister Armelle Evoy. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Noël had a variety of careers such as Front House Manager at the Manitoba Theatre Centre, managerial or supervisory positions at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children, Rainycrest in Fort Frances, Poseidon Care Centre (Winnipeg) and the Fairmont Hotel (Winnipeg). Most recently, Noël was made to feel so welcomed at the Saint Boniface Hospital (Housekeeping Department). Wherever Noël went he made valuable contributions and affected so many lives with his kindness and consideration of others. You are at peace, Noël, and enveloped by the love of God and of our parents, with whom we had so little time. Noël's wish would be that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the college where he received his BA (Hons). Please send to St. John's College, 214-92 Dysart Rd., Winnipeg, MB. R3T 2M5 Funeral service for Noël will be held on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1567 William Avenue West, Winnipeg, and will be celebrated by Reverend Julie Collings. After the service a reception will be held in the Parish Hall. Interment will be at Brookside cemetery at a later date.
