Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA ANDRECHUK On Sunday, September 30, 2007 with family at her side, Stella Andrechuk ended her battle with cancer at the Golden Links Lodge. Mom was born on July 24, 1918 in Howden, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph of 50 years on October 10, 1989; her great- grandson Alexander, parents Anna and William Melnyk; sisters, Olga, Jean, Lena and brother Frank, one step-sister and four step-brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elsie (Joseph), Gloria (Ernest) and Doreen (Clifford); 12 grandchildren, Albert, Robert (Heather), Teresa (Ken), Roberta, Cynthia, Leslie (Liz), Darryl (Lori), Clifford (Lori), Kevin (Theressa), Cheryl (Dean), Heidi (Shawn) and Scarlet; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mom lived on the farm all her life. She enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden and beautiful flowers until she was forced to leave her home due to the 1997 flood of the century. She then moved to various nursing facilities throughout Winnipeg. Mom missed the farm terribly, especially at harvest time. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 973 Red River Drive, Howden, MB with Fr. Sebastian Gacki officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her six beloved grandsons. We will miss you Mom and Baba.
