IRENE FRANCIS DEARLOVE 1921 - 2007 It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt on October 2, 2007 at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg. Irene will be missed and lovingly remembered by her son Wayne (Susan) and Bruce (Irene), grandchildren, Sean (Robyn), Brandi (Darren), Jennifer (Ken) and Justin, great-grandchildren, Jase, Anna, Morrigan, John, Logan, William, Grace, Kale and Carissa. Her sister-in-law Elsie will miss her. Also missing her will be many nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband Jack, brothers-in-law, Dennis and Walter, sister-in-law Beatrice, as well as her only sister Daisy Mills. Irene was born April 13, 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Jack Andrews Dearlove in 1945, raising their sons in the West End of Winnipeg. She was an employee of Eaton's for many years and enjoyed many friends there. Irene loved her card games and was always ready to go to the Casino. She enjoyed many trips to Vegas with her friends. She very much loved her time at her cottage at the Big Whiteshell Lake. She spent many happy times there, and enjoyed sitting on her deck, feeding her chipmunk friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the Grace Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to our mother. Services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. (revised time) at St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
