Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE TYMOFICHUK (nee SLIVINSKI) August 28, 1920 October 2, 2007 Anne passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 87. She left behind her daughter Barbara (Marc) Drouin; grandson Gerry (Erica); granddaughter Nikki; sister Pearl; sisters-in-law, Pearl and Olga, as well as many relatives. Anne was predeceased by her husband Bill and her son Gene. Mom was born and raised in Swan Plain, SK. As a young woman she came to Winnipeg where she met my dad Bill. They were married and raised a son and daughter. After her children were old enough, she went to work. Anne made many friends in her various jobs. She truly enjoyed family get-togethers on Christmas Eve and going to Church. Mom knew the meaning of being a Baba. She doted on her grandchildren and developed a special bond with them. They will miss her terribly. Mom loved angels and flowers. Her apartment had many plants, flowers and of course angels. I'm sure she will be welcomed into the choirs of angels where she will watch over all those she loved. We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital M/S ICU for their wonderful care. Thanks as well to Dr. Shojania and especially her incredible, caring personal physician Dr. Helga Sickert and her receptionist, Brenda. Prayers will be said on Thursday, October 4 at 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Should you wish, you may make a donation in Anne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba . WE LOVE YOU, WE'LL MISS YOU REST IN PEACE.
