DIANE EVELINE MARIE DESMARAIS (nee TRUDEAU) Born April 9, 1947 in Saint Boniface, Manitoba. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 30, 2007, at the age of 60. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Paul Desmarais of 41 years of marriage. She was the daughter of Helene Trudeau of Iles Des Chenes, Manitoba. She is survived by children, Mona, Lise, Denis, Monique and Natalie; loving grandmother of grandchildren, Dion, Tyler, Nathan, Renee, Jolenne, Breanna, Brayden, Zoe, Adam and Makayla; siblings, Paulette and Lucille, as well as many family and friends from Manitoba, Salmon Arm and Qualicum Beach. Diane was active as a volunteer, member of CWL, and Song Birds. Celebration of Life was held at The Church of the Ascension, 887 Wembley Rd., Parksville, BC, on Wednesday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. Special thank you to Dr. Love and all of the Palliative Care Nurses at the NRGH.
