KEN NORMAND It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ken Normand on October 2, 2007 at the age of 48 years. Ken was predeceased by his father John in 1977. Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife Kim, and son Kristopher; mother Marion, Kim (Larry), Wayne (Cory), Janice (Rui), father and mother in law Alexander and Mary, Dave (Heather), Debra (John), Susan (Harry), numerous nieces and nephews, and his loyal companion Sam. He will also be sadly missed by many friends and co-workers. Ken was a long time employee of Mikkelsen-Coward/Nor-Tec Electric. Ken was a natural athlete and enjoyed participating in countless sporting activities through which he gained many lifelong friendships. Honorary pallbearers are the Weston Toro's. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 12:30 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's memory may be made to the Kristopher J. Normand Education Fund in care of Mikkelson-Coward, 2070 Notre Dame Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R3H 0J8.
