Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB LUTZ July 17, 1923 - October 4, 2007 After a courageous battle with illness, Jacob passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Jacob will be lovingly remembered by his children, Edith (John) Watson of Winnipeg; Jacob (Jan) Lutz of Calgary; Harry (Moe) Lutz of Victoria; Renate (Dave) Wowchuk of Brandon; Marianne (Sieg) Verleih of Winnipeg. His grandchildren David (Sara) Watson of Dauphin; Kim, Jenn and Diana Lutz of Calgary; Alyssa and Adam Wowchuk of Brandon; Michael and Stephanie Verleih of Winnipeg. Jacob was predeceased by his wife, Alice of 57 and one half years in December of 2004, his parents and all his siblings. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay St., Winnipeg. The family would like to thank Concordia Hospital 3rd Floor West Wing, N1 South, Emergency, Dr. Salem and Dr. Bergen for all their wonderful care and kindness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6, the Canadian Diabetes or to a charity of one's choice.
