DENIS PRETEAU Peacefully on October 3, 2007, Denis passed away at the age of 83 at his home in St. Malo, Manitoba. He was born on April 6, 1924 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Denis enjoyed living at his new home in the Chalet Malouin, located in St. Malo. He enjoyed hunting, driving around in his Ford truck and driving his red converted 4x4 golf cart. He also loved teasing his great-grandchildren every chance he got. Denis leaves to mourn his wife Marie-Ange, 12 children, Carmelle (Emile Frechette), Pauline (Paul Cote), Jeanne (René Dubois), Julien (Linda), Gilbert (Louise), Marcel (Betty), Gisèle (Richard Gauthier), Léo (Elizabeth), Thérèse (Winfred Roemer), Hélène (Hans Roemer), Marc (Lena), Maurice (Noel); 37 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his brother Edward, his sister Alice and many friends. Denis was predeceased by his parents, Philias and Malvina, two sons, André and Roland, two grandchildren, Johanne (Carmelle) and Andrea (Roland), three great-grandchildren, Melissa, Leo JR, Daniel, four brothers, Léopold, Jean, Onésime, Alphonse and one son-in-law Emile Frechette. All are invited to attend the viewing on Monday, October 8, 2007 from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Vita Funeral Homes St. Pierre Chapel , St. Pierre, Manitoba. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church, St. Malo, Manitoba.
