Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN MAY DILL Peacefully at Poseidon Care Centre, Winnipeg, surrounded by her family and released from her struggle with Alzheimer's, Eileen May Dill (nee Willis), 90, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2007. Eileen is now at peace with her beloved husband Frank, who predeceased her in February, 1997 after 53 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Marilyn Sanders (Ron) of Toronto and Carolyn Grant (Ron) of Winnipeg and three grandchildren, Emma Sanders (Campbell) of Toronto, Ryan Maher (Shauna and Kayden) and Shannon White (Darrell and Raelyn) all of Winnipeg. Eileen was predeceased by her only brother John (Jack) Willis in April, 2002. Eileen was born on February 13, 1917 to Sadie and Frank Willis. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, a nursing degree, undertook post-graduate studies in public health and worked with the Victoria Order of Nurses. She met Frank in Three Rivers, QC on Christmas Eve, 1942 and they married in Winnipeg on January 29, 1944. Eileen was, above all, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, providing a firm foundation for her family. A Service of Remembrance to celebrate Eileen's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2007 at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 200 Helmsdale Ave. Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff at Poseidon Care Centre for the care provided to Eileen during her residence there. Donations in Eileen's memory may be made to the Foundation at the Victoria General Hospital, 2340 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8.
