October 20, 1940 - October 3, 2007 After a lengthy illness and peacefully in his sleep, Gordon Kenneth Peary Sr. passed away at the age of 66. Gordon leaves to mourn his dedicated wife of 13 years, Verna Peary; daughter Debra Peary (Ken); son Gordon Peary Jr. (Lisa); grandsons, Gordon Peary III and Taylor Staff; granddaughter Aimie Peary; sister Lorraine McCrae and brother James Peary. He was predeceased by his parents; seven siblings; daughter Kelly Peary; and his children's mother, Alice Cardinal, in 2001. Gordon was trained by his father to be a meat cutter by trade. In his early years, he worked at Shop Easy stores, Maple Leaf, and spent 21 years working at Canada Safeway which, for many years, was as a meat manager. Gordon loved to play guitar, sing, tell jokes and visit special friends in Victoria, BC. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. We love you, Dad KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
