BUD (KENNETH, OLIVER) LAW January 4, 1925 - September 30, 2007 It is with tremendous love, respect and admiration that we announce the peaceful passing of our father on September 30,2007. Family was the most important part of Bud's life. His big heart, warm smile, great sense of humour, plentiful stories, his passion for aviation, photography and the outdoors will shine in the hearts of family and friends forever. Bud proudly served his country during the Second World War in the RCAF in both Canada and Europe with the 430 Squadron and 39R Wing from 1943 to 1946. After returning from his service, Bud held a long career in the insureance business. In 1970 he left city life and moved his family closer to the outdoors that he loved. Residing in, and working at the mill in Telegraph Cove. After the mill closed Bud continued working in the logging industry for many years as Firewarden for Crown Zellerbach in Kokish, BC retiring early due to health concerns in 1989. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Reni, children Keith, Kim and Pamela. Grandchildren Kate, Tyler, Matt, and Tamara. Spouses of his children Betty, Shari and Randy and numerous inlaws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bud was the third of five children born to Kenneth and Gwenne Law of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his father and mother, sister Pheobe, sister Vernie and brother Jack. No service by request. If friend's desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Veteran's Honouring Luncheon, kindly being performed by the Royal Canadian Legion will be announced for a future date. High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun split clouds ........
