EMILIA (MILLIE) ANCEL (nee HINK) 1909 2007 Mrs. Emilia Ancel aged 97 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the East Gate Lodge, Beausejour. Emilia was born in Winnipeg on November 20, 1909 and raised in Golden Bay, Manitoba. She met and married Joseph Ancel in 1933. They settled in Buchan, Manitoba where they farmed and raised their 9 children. She is survived by her seven children, Allan (Barbara) Ancel, June Blakemore, Caroline Nicholson, Jean Scholz, Brian (Lyla) Ancel, Mark (Jean) Ancel, Patrick (Ann) Ancel; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her nephews, nieces and cousins. Emilia was predeceased by her husband Joseph; her daughters, Madeline Pritchett and Elaine Pelletier. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Beausejour. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
