Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD EDWIN MILLER It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother and Friend on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Health Science Centre at the age of 60 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Audrey Miller. Remaining to forever cherish Don's memory, is his wife Diane; sons, Trevor (Alissa), Travis (Sherri); grandchildren, Elicia and Roydon. He is also survived by his brother Terry (Carole) and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Don was born in Carman on November 1, 1946. He grew up on the family farm near Carman where he met his wife Diane. They moved to Winnipeg where they married, began their careers and started their family. Don worked for Hudson Bay Vending as a repair man for 17 years then worked in maintenance for Shelter Canada for another 16 years . Don enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with the family -- most of all he cherished the time he spent at the cabin, and visiting those he loved. At home, you could always find Don in the garage where he spent many hours working on appliances, motors and mechanical devices that needed fixing. He loved country music and watching old Western movies. Don played baseball in his younger days and golf in more recent years. He was always an avid pool player. A celebration of Don's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Don's name to a charity of their choice. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
