Lou was part of a large family, with seven siblings and then five children of his own. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Carr. Father of Charles and his wife Gail, Jacqueline and the late Louis, Kathryn (Keith Vokey) and Monica. Grandfather of Diana (Jamie Hale), Kenneth (Amanda), Bryan, Stephen (Melanie), and Corey Vokey (Pam). Great-grandfather of Mara and Cameron Hale and Alyssa and Nicholas Vokey. Dear brother of Henry of Winnipeg, Bernadette Miller of Butte, Montana, the late Leon, Antoinette Hargreaves, Doris Bircham, Theresa Richter and Lorraine Pressler. Friends may call on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street in Oakville (905-844-3221) from 12:00 noon until Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Foundation in his honour would be appreciated.
