Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCY ANNIE MILLER (nee ARNOLD) It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Lucy, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, on October 6, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Lucy was born at Corning, SK in a small house to Fred and Ada Arnold on March 28, 1932. Some years later she moved to Ashern, MB with her parents and brother Ross. Her brother Doug was born in Manitoba. She married Norman Miller and together raised four children, Bonny, Larry, Glen and Heather. Lucy had a few short-term jobs cleaning at the Lakeshore School Division and at the Camper Motor Inn (Sharptail), but the family and the farm was Mom's full-time ambition and love. Mom (Granny) was always our anchor in life and was our safe place to fall. Mom was always there first for us. Lucy loved people and getting out (in later years), and visiting in town be good for the whole afternoon. Granny has six grandchildren, Shanna (Cal), Jay (Jenna), Jamie, Tyler (Breanne), Evan and Elliot; six great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rylee, Breaden, Romee, Delaynee and Brody, a special cousin Joan Allen, along with many other family members and special friends. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, her grandchild Chris, her parents, Fred and Ada, her brothers, Doug and Ross, her sister-in-law Sylvia, and her niece Wendy. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Ashern Gospel Chapel, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A luncheon will follow the memorial service, and an interment will take place at the Lakeside Cemetery later that day. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben and Steven Hoosier and all her friends and neighbours. Thank you to Donna and Greg for their quick response, to Dr. Ramadan and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital, to the Health Sciences Centre emergency, and a special thank you to Larry and Joyce Konzelman. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Silver Bay Bible Camp, c/o June Price, Ashern, MB R0C 0E0. arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES LTD. Ashern - Lundar (204) 768-2072
