Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA PETERS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Anna Peters, on October 10, 2007 at Dinsdale Personal Care Home, Brandon. She was born on January 1, 1930 to Jacob and Katherina Quiring and came to Canada in 1948. She married Bernhard Peters in 1951 and together they raised their family in Winnipeg and later moved to Brandon in 1967. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ben, infant daughter Marlene, son Victor, sister Sarah, as well as brothers, Henry, Walter (Anna) and Frank Quiring. She will be fondly remembered by her son Bernie, daughters, Ann (Gerald) Barnes, Elsie and Elfreda Peters and daughter-in-law Vivian, as well as grandchildren, Tanya (Michael), Shannon (Hugo), Brian, Megan (Darcie), Melissa and Marla (Jamie) and her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Nicolas, Owen and Jaiden. Surviving also are her sisters, Tina Meyer and Jessie (Nick) Lowen and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Anna's faith was very important to her and she tried to pass this on to her family. Her family always came first. Anna worked for many years at the Brandon General Hospital in housekeeping until her retirement. She was able to stay in her home until 2004 when her health failed and Dinsdale Personal Care Home became her new home. The family would like to thank Major Winnie Perrin and the caring staff at Dinsdale Personal Care Home for their love and care of our mother. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, Brandon, with viewing prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations can be made to Dinsdale Personal Care Home, 510-6th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 3N9 or to a charity of choice.
