Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ELEANOR WILSON With profound sadness we announce the passing of Margaret, devoted mother and grandmother on October 10, 2007. She lives on in the hearts of her daughters, Beverley and Stan Managh, Sidonie McDermott and Gertrude Greengrass, her son James and Helen Izzard, her grandchildren, Timothy and Patrick Managh, Denise and Jay Taylor, Patrick McDermott, Darren and Barbara Greengrass and Johnathan and Joanne Izzard, great-grandchildren, Christopher and Justin Managh, Melissa and Brody Melynchuk, Samantha and Phil Taylor, Alex and Michael Izzard and Destiny Hodson and great-great-grandchildren, Garrett Hurst and Austin Naskrent. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack Wilson; parents, Clarence and Florence Martin; brothers, Fred and Joseph and sister Gertrude. Margaret was born on March 15, 1918 and was raised in Winnipeg's north end. Margaret was an active member of the Winnipeg South Legion, Branch 252, serving on the ladies' auxiliary for 35 years. She also served as the Ways and Means Conveynor for the 65 Club and served as the conveynor for the Carpet Bowling at Golden Rules Seniors for ten years. Margaret cherished her involvement at the Windsor Park United Church. A special heartfelt thanks to the fourth floor nursing staff at the Victoria General Hospital and the staff at Poseidon Care Centre for caring for our mother. Cremation has taken place through Neil Bardal. At Margaret's request there will be no service. A private family graveside interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
