BEVERLEY (BRINEY) LOVE The family of Beverley (Briney) Love is deeply saddened to announce her passing on September 18, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre with her family at her bedside. Beverley was born on December 3, 1937 in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by parents Gordon Kemel in 1963 and Lily Kemel-Kozak in 2001. She is survived by her husband Gordon Love; her children Marshall and Michele Love of Winnipeg and Glenda and Daryl Hirsch of Vancouver. Grandchildren, Jacob and Matthew Love, Lindsey Hirsch; sisters Sylvia (Earl) Pitch and Sandra (Hart) Shapiro. Beverley is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, great-nephews and a great-niece. Beverley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a courageous, intelligent, honest and compassionate woman, who sheltered her loved ones with all her heart and soul to protect, nurture, and guide them. Beverley graduated as an R.N. in 1974 from Red River College. She was a dedicated nurse at Misericordia Hospital and Assistant Director of Nursing at the Holiday Haven Nursing Home. After a number of years, Beverley chose to leave nursing to enter the business world where she worked alongside her husband Gordon, at Perfecfit Glove Manufacturers. She was a people person and connected easily with friends, of which she had many. She always took pleasure in helping others. The entire family sends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ken VanAmeyde and Dr. Lynn Shelton for their many years of dedicated and compassionate care in assisting Beverley with her courageous battle against several illnesses. We thank the staff of CCU, MICU and GH4 at the Health Sciences Centre for their dedicated and kind care. Funeral services were held September 20, 2007 at Etz Chayim Synagogue, officiated by Rabbi Larry Lander with interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
