GERALD WILLIAM SAWATZKY On September 28, 2007 peacefully and surrounded by those who love him, Gerald passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Gerald was 59 years old. Gerald is survived by his daughter Tammy, and son Gerry. His sister Lynda, and brothers, Fred and Jack and sister-in-law Joan. His nieces, Lou, Barb (Rob), Jenifer (Jeff), Kari-Anne (Tobias), Crystal (Chris), and nephews, Jim (Sophia), Donavan, Jack (Melissa), Kristopher (Sheila) and Jonathan. His great- nieces, Katelyn, Makayla, Kayla, Samantha, Sophia and great-nephews, Dwayne (Azure), Kyle, Nick, Dean, Dorian, Sevyn and his great-great- niece Malissa and several other nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by his father Abraham, and his mother Florence and his great-nephew Ryan. Gerald's sense of humour and his willingness to help others will be truly missed. Gerald was a mechanic and of all his work in this field he most enjoyed his time as an instructor at South Winnipeg Technical College. Gerald was always helping someone out with fixing their vehicle. Gerald's family would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kind and gentle care during this sudden and difficult time. A service was held on October 9, 2007 at the Coutu Funeral Chapel.
