BERTHA KNIGHT It is with sadness we announce the death of Bertha Knight on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Grace Hospice at the age of 92 years. Bertha will be sadly missed by her son Doug (Bea) and grandchildren, Robin and Brad; daughter Carol and granddaughter Nicole and family; daughter Dianne (Ernie) and grandchildren, Alan, Susan, Michael, Jeff, Dinos and Rick and families. She will also be missed by her sisters, Winnie Jones, Audrey Taylor and Wilma Cole. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1999. The family would like to thank the staff on the fourth floor at the Victoria General Hospital and the Grace Hospice for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. If friends so desire donations in Bertha's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
