She was born on December 3, 1923 and is survived by her brother John (Susan), four nieces and nephews and by eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews. An interment of her ashes and graveside service will take place at St. John's Cathedral Cemetery, Winnipeg, on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Mary had a full life in London, England and in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Ottawa and Kingston, Ontario. During her life, and particularly after her retirement from Queens University she traveled extensively throughout the world, including Russia, Israel, Europe and Northern Canada.
