Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD HERBERT RUTLEDGE Born on April 1, 1927 in Toronto, ON, died peacefully October 9, 2007. Arnold was the youngest son of Robert and Elizabeth (nee Ferguson). He was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Hugh, Peter, Frank and sisters, Evelyn and Rita. Arnold will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Jane Ann Mintenko (Bob) and grandson Kaiden of Burnaby, BC and daughter Betty Ann Rutledge of Toronto. Arnold was deeply grateful for the love and support of his dear nieces, Ellen (John), Elaine and Betty. Spending much of his adult life in Winnipeg, Arnold was an active member of the Advertising and Sales Club as well as Army, Navy and Air Force Vets #1 (Winnipeg). He was a founding member of the Jolly Good Fellows Club, raising money for Misericordia Hospital and played Santa on many occasions for families in need. His many friends in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto will remember Arnold for his love of dancing, music, baseball and passionate conversations. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association and Bereaved Families of Ontario - Toronto. A cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (near Dundas). Friends are invited to a visitation one half hour before service, with a reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Cardinal Funeral Homes Ltd., 416-603-1444.
