JAMES EDWARD HENDRICKS It is with sorrow we announce the death of our much loved husband, father and grandfather. Following a gallant battle with cancer Jim passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 with his family by his side. Jim is lovingly remembered by Beth, his wife of 41 years, his daughters Christine Witiuk (Steve) and Wendy Struth (Chad), grandchildren Matthew and Sarah, sisters Evelyn Morgan (Bill) and Nell Tardi (Joe). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. We feel blessed to have had Jim in our lives. Jim was a devoted family man. He lived his life fully and thoughtfully. He enjoyed his work first at GBR and then at the Planning Department of the City of Winnipeg; but he loved his retirement and time at the cottage even more. In accordance with his wishes a private family service has been held. Services were arranged by Wheeler Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to the charity of your choice.
