Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLAN NORMAN WENNMAN It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Allan Norman Wennman, husband, father, uncle and papa on October 11, 2007 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 63. Allan is survived by his loving wife Carol (Woodrow) and his only sibling Lenore Abell (Leroy) of Calgary, Alberta; eldest daughter Cindy Lee Newman of Selkirk, MB; Shelly (Car); Ryan of Grand Falls- Windsor, NFLD; eldest son, Michael (Sylvia) Wennman of Winnipeg; Michelle (Kevin) Spracklin of Dubreuilville, Ontario; and his youngest son. Predeceased by his 16 month old daughter, Jacqueline Edith Melvina, and his parents of Kenora, Ontario, he also leaves to cherish his memory, his grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew along with relatives in Thunder Bay, ON. Allan was born on March 7, 1944 in Kenora, Ontario, where he met and married Carol Woodrow on April 27, 1963. Allan worked in many mining industries and as a trailer mechanic. His last employers were Trizec Hahn and The Legislative Building in Wpg. Allan had lived in Thompson, MB from 1975 to 1985. Allan's passions were for family, friends (everywhere), golf, science-fiction (trekie), reading, and most of all, his pet cat Trazzers. Celebration service of Allan's life will be held on October 17, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy in Winnipeg. Upon his requests and wishes, he will be cremated and in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in loving memory to The Diabetes Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Manitoba Lung Association. Many thanks to Dr. Traska and the nurses (ICU) of Victoria Hospital for all the love, care and generosity they showed Allan and the family during his stay.
