DELPHINE MARIE GRYWINSKI Peacefully on Thursday October 11, 2007 at the age of 63 Delphine Marie Grywinski passed away at the Riverview Center after a courageous battle with cancer. This loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt sister-in-law, and friend to many will be sadly missed but so fondly remembered by all who knew her. Del was predeceased by her father William; father-in-law Bill and sister-in-law Linda. Del is survived by her husband Ron of 38 years; mother Mona; brothers, Bill (Sheila), Darryl, and Kevin (Pamela); mother-in-law Olga; sister-in-law Liz; brother-in-law Gordie; nieces Lisa, Chrissy, Brooklynn and nephew Jayce and many cousins. Del was born in Winnipeg (west end) on July 21, 1944. Shortly after completing high school she was employed at Eaton's in Human Resources where she enjoyed a 30 year career. Upon retirement Del enjoyed working part time, meeting with friends and taking her best friend Vinny for a Stroll in the Park. She was people person and connected easily with friends of which she had many. She always took pleasure in helping others. The entire family sends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the H.S.C., CancerCare, homecare workers and Riverview. A special thanks to her closest friends Gail, Janet, Tina, Judy and Carman for their kindness and support, your efforts were greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Delphine's life will be held 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Anglican Church., 2700 portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society or a charity of choice.
