Rosa was born in Latina, Italy and married Sergio in 1954. Rosa and Sergio and family immigrated to Canada in 1965. She worked for several years until she retired from the Health Sciences Centre housekeeping dept. in 1988. Her retirement allowed her to enjoy spending more time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Throughout the years mom made several trips to Italy to visit family, but was always glad to come back home to her daughters and grandchildren. Mom was a loving, gentle and very generous woman, always available to help anyone who needed it. She also supported two children through world vision. She saw them as part of her family. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Victoria General Hospital, 4th floor North for their patience and dedication during mom's stay.
