DOUGLAS GORDON JOHNSTON January 4, 1960 - October 12, 2007 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved son, brother, stepfather, uncle, nephew and cousin, Doug on Friday, October 12, 2007. Doug enjoyed the great outdoors; going fishing, hunting and best of all he loved his job at Tetu Lodge, where he became a well known guide. Doug was predeceased by his mother Annie; his wife Sharon and by his brother-in-law Garry Vermette. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father Stanford; brothers, David (Jan), Stanford Jr. (Mary) and Marshall (Theresa); his sisters, Cheryl (Sheldon), Bonnie (Don) and Trudy; stepdaughter Robin; special Aunt Lena and Uncle Joe; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as the Williams Family. A prayer service will take place from 7:30 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Both services will be held at the Wide World of Faith Church, 465 Alexander Ave., Winnipeg, MB, with Pastor Marvin Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Our family sends a special thanks to Dr. Kasper, Moe, Lisa, Randy and staff, for their loving care towards our son and brother during this past year.
