OSWALD (OZZIE) SINGBEIL March 15, 1931 - October 12, 2007 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ozzie; beloved husband, father, son, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He lives on in the hearts of his wife Dorothy (nee Donald), children, Penny Lynne, Jason (Michelle) and Jodie; granddaughters, Sandy (Jason), Jordyn, Brooklyn and great-granddaughter Stephanie. Also left to mourn his loss are his mother Martha, brothers, Irvin, Gerry (Alice) sisters, Helen (Alvin), Ruth (Gordon), his sisters and brothers in law and many, many good friends. Ozzie was predeceased by his father Rudolf, sister Gertie and brother Oscar. Ozzie was born in Greenwald, MB to Rudolf and Olga. Moving to Winnipeg at an early age, he worked at Malmgren Implements, Canadian Tool Die and later as a manufacturers rep for various firms. He was introduced to Lee River life by his uncle Ernie in 1955 and there was no looking back. He and Dorothy retired and moved to the cottage on Lee River in 1995. His family kept him young at heart. His interest changed as he did. From hunting, fishing and trapping to flying, travelling and building anything and everything, puttering in his garage and more recently; golf, golf, golf. Oz's family would like to thank their special family and friends for their support, as well as the Grand-Man group and Cancer Care. A heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care provided by NEHA home care, nurses and staff and Dr. E. Spence at Pinawa Hospital. A celebration of Ozzies' life will take place on Wednesday, October 17, 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care or the MS Society. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111 Family and Friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
