LEWIS NAGAM It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and most of all friend, on the early morning hours of October 15, 2007, at the age of 85 years. Left to mourn are his loving wife and best friend of 60 years Elva, along with their children, Sharon (Jim), Melvin (Monika), Denis (Kathy), Larry (late Gloria), Bonnie, Greg (Marie), Jeff (Beverly), Rhonda (Miguel), Rod (Shana), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son Gary in 2005, and was the last remaining of his family's generation. Low Bed was a hardworking, fun-loving man who cherished his family and the time that he spent with them playing guitar or fiddle, throwing a dart or horseshoe, or having a good shot of whiskey. Dad spent many years operating low bed trucks and various pieces of heavy equipment. He took great pride in being a very hard worker and was considered one of the very best in his field. Even after his retirement, he devoted countless hours cutting grass for friends and neighbours in Teulon, as well as numerous woodworking projects for family and friends. How do you express the love that dad felt for mom. We stand at the computer as a family in tears and at a loss for words when we think of the affection we saw between our mom and dad. They taught us through action and words what the meaning of love is. The family would like to send thanks to the doctors and nurses at Hunter Memorial Hospital in Teulon. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2007, at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main Street in Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.

Dad , every time I read this obituary, it brings tears to my eyes . I miss you so very much ! Remembering the love between you and Mom makes me smile and cry at the same time because it was so beautiful. You were a very loving and caring guy, who was never too busy to teach people who really wanted to learn. You taught me how to change oil , tires, and all before I ever had my own car . The one thing that I remember is the order in which you taught me about shutting off the car ...so I would never forget again to shut the lights out . I learned that lesson well after experiencing the trouble of a dead battery (before the days of auto shut off ligjts). I love you and miss you xoxo Love Bon - Posted by: bonnie (Daughter ) on: Nov 02, 2016
