ANNE MARIE FABRO (nee TEMPLE) Peacefully, on Wednesday October 10, 2007, Marie passed away at Misericordia Place. She will be reunited with her daughter Janet (Fabro) McComb in heaven. Marie was born in Winnipeg on April 7, 1924 and grew up in the Elmwood area. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years R.A. (Sam), son Jim (Lynda) and grandsons Nicholas and Anthony, son-in-law Bob and granddaughters Karen and Kimberley McComb. She is also lovingly remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends and neighbours. Special thanks to Betty and Nancy Turnbull for their ongoing love and support. Sincere recognition for the wonderful staff at Misericordia Place (Rose Walk) with their loving kindness and care of Marie. Also, thanks to Sister Gerarda Pura for her prayers and spiritual support. Marie's love of her family and friends, beach life, bridge, reading, the opera, traveling and social gatherings made for a very fulfilling life. Included would be her membership with the St. Agnes Guild, especially her volunteer work as treasurer of the Children's Hospital book market. She also enjoyed her years as a member of the Manitoba Club. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, October 22 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fort Garry United Church, 800 Point Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's name may be made to the Misericordia Health Centre Foundation, 99 Cornish Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 1AZ, or to a charity of choice.
