MILDRED GERTRUDE LIND (nee PRINGLE) July 21, 1918 October 15, 2007 Peacefully on October 15, 2007, Mom passed away at Vista Park Lodge. She is lovingly remembered by her son Alan; daughter-in-law Maureen; grandson Cory; sisters, Agnes Down of Brandon, Connie Mislowski of Regina; brother Harold Pringle of Regina; brother-in-law Dr. James F. Lind (Dorothy) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sister-in-law, Agnes McDonald of Thunder Bay; many nieces, especially Gail Pryke (Don) and Audrey Rathwell (Wes) of Brandon, nephews and friends. She has joined in heaven her husband, Stuart Lind; her sisters, Dell Campbell, Margaret Moore and Mary Webster; and her brother Stewart Pringle. Mom grew up on the family farm near Rounthwaite, MB. During the war, she and Dad worked in Ajax and Sudbury, before returning to Manitoba. They lived in many rural Manitoba towns, where they made many lifelong friends, prior to coming to Winnipeg in the late 1950s. Mom generously welcomed friends and family at her Borebank Street home for 40 years and, more recently, at The Wellington and Vista Park Lodge. We wish to thank her friends and the staff of both The Wellington and Vista Park Lodge for their loving care and thoughtfulness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation has taken place and according to her wishes, a private interment will follow at a later date.
