WALTER PETER NEUFELD Walter Peter Neufeld age 76, of Yorba Linda, California, USA, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007. Walter worked for the Winnipeg Free Press as a Linotype Machinist from 1950-1957 before emigrating to California where he continued his career in printing and retired as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church on Notre Dame Avenue in Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Madeline Neufeld; two children, Catherine Mary Sparks and her husband Jon, Bruce Allen Neufeld and his wife Karen; six grandchildren, Sarah, Jon, Hannah, Colleen, Joshua and Paul; sister Ruth Neufeld and brothers, Herman and Wally Neufeld. Walter was a terrific husband, loving father, doting grandfather and wonderful friend. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. His memorial will be Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Yorba Linda United Methodist Church in Yorba Linda, CA.
