SANDRA PERREAULT Peacefully and with her family by her side, Sandra passed away on October 15, 2007, at the age of 45, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Juliette and Emile; brother Ronald and sister Yvonne. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Neil and Nadine; seven sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and great-nephews. Left to cherish her memory is her longtime friend Guy. Sandra was born on April 10, 1962, in Nipigon, ON. She moved to Winnipeg in 1976. Shortly after her move she met her husband and started her family. Sandra always felt very fortunate to be able to stay at home so she could raise her children. She had such a flair for decorating and crafts, crocheting blankets and making dried flower arrangements to match any room in the house. Sandra had a green thumb; her ability to grow a garden was first-class, using her vegetables for canning and baking special dessert. Sandra had a love for rabbits, raising them as a hobby and always having a family pet. Baby Bunny will miss her dearly. Once the children graduated, Sandra went to work at The Bay in St. Vital as a Sales Associate where her creative talents moved from home to her work. A special thank you to the staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for all their compassion and care for Sandra and her family. If friends so desire, donations in Sandra's memory may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., RM ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9. In keeping with Sandra's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on the evening of Thursday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. Sandra was a dear friend to me growing up. She gave me my first road test, I drove in a ditch then it was over. We loved Halloween we dressed up the weekend before and the weekend after. It was so much fun. Sandra was a good friend and we passed a lot of time together just hanging out in our first apt. listening to April Wine, Cheap Trick and Heart. I dearly miss that fact that she will no longer be there when I come back home to Winnipeg. But she will always be in my heart. - Posted by: Theresa Hendricken (Family) on: Oct 17, 2007
