HANSON (nee TAYLOR) It is with sadness we announce the death of Jean Hanson on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 87 years. Jean will be missed by her stepson Cliff Hanson and nieces, Margaret Mann (Taylor), husband Ron Mann, Glenyce Vines (Taylor), husband Don Vines, nephew Cam Taylor and wife Lorraine. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Jean was predeceased by her husband Vern in 1987. Jean was born and raised in Winnipeg. For many years she worked at Marshall Wells and was a member of the Armed Forces. Jean enjoyed gardening, travelling, bowling, playing bingo, laughing, playing various card games and of course a few cheers. The family would like to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa Station 2 for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
