(TED) MILLARD, CD May 12, 1939 - October 17, 2007 Peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends in Carleton Place, Ontario on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Loving husband of Hélène Coudriau. Cherished father of Michele, Julie (Neil) Harris and Jennifer (Paul) Galveais. Special grandfather of Thomas, Ethan and Gregory. Also survived by his nephew Dennis Hrushowy and nieces Margaret Banasiak, Betty Larkin and Roberta Saltvold. Ted was a veteran of the RCAF a longtime employee of Agriculture Canada and active service officer of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #192 in Carleton Place. Ted's generous, kind and loving character together with his relentless sense of humour will never be forgotten by his valued family members and closest friends. Ted will be greatly missed by his many friends in Clarence Creek, Orleans, Carleton Place and his New Brunswick fishing buddies. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Friday, October 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed immediately by a celebration of Ted's life at the Carleton Place Legion. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Legion Poppy Fund would be most appreciated by his family. Royal Canadian Legion Branch #192 members will assemble at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
