PAULINE HOMIK 1916 - 2007 On October 10, at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, Pauline (Lena) Homik passed away at the age of 90 years. Besides her sister, Elsie Bernhardt of Winnipeg, who also became her caregiver, and her nephew Allan Black of Oshawa, Ontario, whom Pauline raised as her own, she is survived by several nieces and nephews across Canada and the US. Pauline's husband Danny predeceased her in 1988. She retired from Western Gloveworks in 1982. Together with Danny and Allan, Pauline enjoyed boating and fishing while building their cottage at Lee River. Pauline requested a private burial. On October 18, 2007, her remains were interred next to her parents, Conrad and Mary Meyers, and her brother Jack Meyers, in the family plot at Brookside Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
