MARIAN MCINNES (nee HOOD) November 14, 1949 - October 15, 2007 Marian is survived by her beloved husband Ric; her children William and Kim; three grandchildren; Ric's daughter Amber and her two children; brother Brian (Viola) Hood, sister Cheryl Hood as well as her extended family. Marian was predeceased by her mother Doris in 2004 and her father Thomas on October 11, 2007. Marian will be remembered as a caring, compassionate person, who, during the past many years, assisted in the care of both her mother and father. She always had a listening ear and was always willing to help in any way that she possibly could. Marian enjoyed family and looked forward to birthdays and family dinners at Misericordia Place with her father. She always attended to the special details such as bringing treats for Great Grandpa to give to his great-grandchildren because he could not go shopping. Marian was a memory bank of birthdays and anniversaries and seldom missed a birthday with a special card and a follow-up call during which she would ask about every family member. She was genuinely concerned about each one. A special thank you to Ric and Marian's friend Jake Penner who is always there for us. A family service will take place.
