IRENE RUTH CULLEN On October 17, 2007 Irene Ruth Cullen (Renee) peacefully and with grace passed away at Vista Park Lodge. All who knew her and loved her wishes her the peace that she deserves. Irene was predeceased by her husband and best friend Jim in January of 2005. Irene leaves her family and friends with memories of her kindness and patience that could never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by her loving children Patrick Cullen, Kathy (Erick) Furst, grandchildren Kara (Steve) Schellenberg, Krista (Geoff) Moffett, Jay (Lorelle) Furst, and Dustin Furst. She will be cherished and loved by her cutie pies , great-grandchildren Rachel, Cole, Taylor, Ela, Rowan, Teya, Mason, Zoe, Hayden, and Trini. Irene spent many summers as a child at Grand Beach, and a cottage at any other place would have been out of the question! You could find her sipping her tea, watching the lake, and sharing the paper with Jim. We will never forget her infectious laugh and smile, and her passion and love will be remembered by all who knew her. You will always be in our hearts. Please raise your glass high to toast and celebrate the life of Irene and as Jim would say Good Night Irene . Thank you to the wonderful caregivers and staff at the Vista Park Lodge for all their care and compassion. A celebration of Irene's life will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
