ARTHUR (ART) JOHN O'DONNELL Peacefully, with family near his side, Dad passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Thursday, October 18, 2007. Art will be truly missed by his wife of 48 years Theresa, and numerous family and friends. Art was born 1931, in Halifax (Beaverbank) Nova Scotia and worked as a geologist, which moved his family to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, and BC where he met and maintained many friends. Art retired in 1992 and chose to live in Winnipeg where he was able to stay close to family and grandchildren which were big part of his activities. Art is survived by his wife Theresa (Doucet); sons; Art (Vi); grandchildren, Danielle and Brendan. J.J. (Heather); grandchildren Johnell, Austin, and Landon. Pat (Dustin); grandchildren Nevin and Tarin. Ian (Seta) MacLennan; grandchildren, Arlaine, Caroleene, and Gregory. Uncle Art is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 24 at Parish of St. Timothy, 135 John Forsyth Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice, would be appreciated.
